When the telephone first came out, people did not think much of the telephone they thought it was like a toy. Telephones made it easier to communicate with each other. Before the phone, people mailed letters to communicate, but it took less time. A lot of people benefited from the ease to which this invention gave. Large businesses and corporations used the telephone because it was easier to communicate from different locations. In present times we still communicate by using our phones to call people. Today it is easier to call people and have conversations because in the earlier days calls were timed but now they are not and we can call people for as long as we want. The telephone still provided a drastic change back then because people were not used to conversing with technology. The telephone impacted future inventions and this invention changed the way people communicate drastically.
